Carrageenan

Carrageenan is a hydrophilic colloid extracted from red algal seaweeds such as kirin, rockweed, and deodar, etc. Its chemical structure is the calcium, potassium, sodium, and ammonium salts of polysaccharide sulfate esters composed of galactose and dehydrated galactose.

Carrageenan is white or light brown granule or powder, odourless or slightly odourless, with sticky and smooth taste. It is widely used in the manufacture of jellies, ice creams, pastries, soft candies, canned foods, meat products, soups, cold foods and so on.

Packing: 25kgs net paper bags or 25kgs net plastic woven bags.
